Youth, ages 10 to 18, are invited to gain some culinary confidence on Thursday, April 16 at 3:30 p.m. when Rodman Public Library hosts Kitchen Knife Skills for Tweens and Teens in the Main Auditorium.
Participants will learn how to safely utilize knives in the kitchen in a class taught by Elizabeth Schweigert, an educator from Central State University Extension – Northeast Region. While learning these new skills, the kids will use a recipe to assemble Southwest bowls.
All ingredients and supplies will be provided free of charge, but space is limited and registration is required at rodmanlibrary.com.
