Juneteenth Kids Craft

Juneteenth Kids Craft In-Person

Children, ages 8-12, are invited to mark the Juneteenth holiday with a special craft day at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19.

The project will include the children replicating a painting displayed by the National Museum of African American History & Culture of a fleur-de-lis made of red beans and rice. The original was created in 2010 by Myesha Francis.

Participation is free for this program, which is supported by Friends of Rodman Public Library, but space is limited and registration is required.
